You can browse CapTracker — the leaderboard, capper records, and daily board — without an account. If you request the Daily Ledger, we collect your email, U.S. state, 21+ verification result, and consent record, then require email confirmation before marketing starts. We use analytics to understand traffic. We don't sell your data, and we never take bets or touch your money.
CapTracker (“CapTracker,” “we,” “us”) operates the website at captracker.markets and the CapTracker mobile app. CapTracker is a sports-analytics and record-verification tool: we track handicappers’ picks, timestamp and lock them on arrival, and grade them automatically against public results. CapTracker does not accept wagers, hold funds, or connect to any sportsbook.
This policy explains what personal data we handle when you use the website or the app.
We do not sell your personal data.
We use a small set of third-party processors to run CapTracker. They only receive the data needed for their function:
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Website hosting / delivery | Request logs, IP |
| Supabase | Backend database & account authentication | Email, account & subscription records |
| Google Analytics / Tag Manager | Traffic analytics | Usage, device, cookie IDs |
| Advertising measurement pixel | Usage / conversion events, cookie ID | |
| Gumroad | Pier Pass payment processing | Email, payment details (held by Gumroad) |
| Twilio SendGrid | Sending confirmed subscription and Daily Ledger emails; delivery and complaint reporting | Email address, delivery and engagement events |
| Apple (app only) | Push-notification delivery, App Store billing | Push token, App Store purchase status |
We may also disclose data if required by law, to enforce our terms, or in connection with a business transfer. Each provider maintains its own privacy policy governing its handling of data.
The website uses cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: analytics (Google Analytics / Tag Manager) and advertising measurement (the Reddit pixel, which helps us understand which ads bring visitors). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; core browsing features of CapTracker will still work. Many browsers also honor a “Do Not Track” signal — where required by law we respect applicable opt-out signals.
We keep personal data only as long as it’s needed for the purposes above. Unconfirmed signup tokens expire after 24 hours. Confirmed subscriber and consent records remain until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion; suppression evidence may be retained as needed to prevent future sends. Account and subscription records remain for the life of the account plus what the law requires. Aggregate and cryptographically hashed delivery metrics may be kept longer when they no longer identify you directly.
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with reputable providers that apply industry-standard safeguards, including access controls that restrict database access to server-side roles. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
CapTracker involves real-world gambling references and is intended for adults. The Daily Ledger email program is currently limited to people who attest that they live in the United States and whose submitted date of birth shows they are at least 21. The date of birth is evaluated at signup and not stored. The app is rated 17+, and the broader service is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as the product evolves; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Questions, requests, or privacy concerns:
